Fleet Motor Company LLC was established in 1948 by Thomas Vivirito, Sr. at the original site on Crystal Lake Road. In 1965 the business moved to its current location at the corner of Route 12 and Crystal Lake Road. In addition to used car sales, Fleet Motor Company operated a full Service Department, including auto body repair, all of which the Company continues to operate today. Thomas Vivrito, Sr. was the founder and first president of the Southeastern Connecticut Autobody Association.

Thomas Vivirito, Jr. began working for his father at the age of 12. During high school, Tom learned the automotive trades, including mechanical and auto body repair. After receiving his degree in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut, Tom returned to the family business full-time as Manager. After the passing of its founder in 1997, Tom succeeded his father as Owner.

Over the years Fleet Motor Company LLC has developed a reputation for selling affordable used vehicles. The Company strives to provide quality vehicles that appeal to a wide range of customers. Fleet Motors prides itself in its many repeat customers and the word-of-mouth business they generate. Our competent sales staff will help you find the car that suits your needs as well as your budget. We offer financing for qualified individuals on select models. For customers interested in extended warranty coverage, we have several options available.

Fleet Motor Company LLC is a member of the Connecticut Automotive Retailers Association and the Navy League of the United States. Fleet Motors has been recognized for its support of the Submarine Base Security Department and the Nautilus Museum. As an active member of the community, Fleet Motor Company LLC sponsors youth sports, as well as a scholarship at Fitch High School.
